Speaking about her decision to leave behind a conventional career for a life on the road, Gülsah stated, “Leaving my routine as a teacher and making the bold choice to explore the world was not easy. Conquering the Toughest Roads

Teacher Epic Ride was filled with unforgettable moments, many of which tested Gülsah’s endurance and resilience. One of the most challenging segments of her journey was traversing the rugged terrain of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. The steep and rocky trails pushed both her riding skills and physical strength to the limit. However, her passion for adventure and her trusted motorbike enabled her to overcome these obstacles.

Another remarkable feat was her ride through Umling La, India. A pass sitting at an astonishing 5,800 meters above sea level. With freezing temperatures, thin air, and treacherous sandy and rocky roads. It was one of the most demanding routes she had ever encountered. Arriving in Southeast Asia, Gülsah found Indonesia to be one of the most memorable parts of her journey. The breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality of the locals left a lasting impression on her. “In Bukittinggi, I met local riders who were familiar with the concept of the equator because they live just 40 kilometers from it,” she shared. “Reaching this place is a meaningful milestone for me.”
